Update (Long Overdue)

I figure that it is time for an update. It's been a while since I've written anything in the way of articles of any kind. While that isn't entirely true, it is true for this site. You see, I moved this blog onto my personal servers. I wrote some more posts and somethng went wrong. The blog became detached and was crossing over between a primary, a back up and an alternate site. I fially took the time to try and weed this out but it was too far gone to repair. So anything that remained there, was deleted.

As this is an update, let's talk about what I has been going on. I spent some time trying to make videos but found that I just wasn't as invested in video as I thought I would be. So I moved to still photography. That is much more somethig that I can invest in. For me, it feels right. I am relaxed when lining up shots and even when editing photos in post. This is a learning journey with a lot to learn on it. I'm still traveling by motorcycle and taking my camera with me. The camera on my phone is a back up in case I need quick access or don't have my camera in my hand.

As part of the motorcycling community I continue to aid new riders start their in their life-long love of motorcycling. I stress safety and drill home that to have a long career riding motorcycles its good to take your time and enjoy. It's better to arrive late than never.

While I mourn the loss of those other articles, I can always write more. This update will begin a slight change in where this blog is going. It will remain being about motorcycling but will start to include more about photography and the combination of the two hobbies. I'm looking forward to riding out for weekend or longer trips, taking photos and sharing thoughts along the way.

I have opened a BlueSky account and have been sharing daily photos on that profile. I try to post weekdays at 08:30 AM regularly. Check it out. https://bsky.app/profile/lineofsighttravels.bsky.social
